We are a regional refrigerated transportation company. We operate extensively in the Food and Grocery industry, transporting refrigerated food products from the point of processing to various distribution points within the supply chain. Our core business is offering transportation services to the retail grocery industry and the suppliers in the food distribution business. We provide transportation services for all types of refrigerated food commodities, including Fresh Produce, Frozen Foods, Meat, Cheeses, Seafood, Refrigerated Beverages, and Ice Cream products. The Fleet Operations office is staffed 24/7 and handles all operational aspects of the company.

Qualifications: Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Computer engineering, and/or other Engineering Majors are recommended. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. A computer background in the MS Office Suite and the ability to learn a new software system.
Description
The internship is for a position in the Information Technology department of a regional refrigerated transportation company working extensively in the Food and Grocery Industry. This position will require very strong communication skills and computer literacy. The Intern will learn how to operate an enterprise software system specific to the transportation industry. The duties involved will be Documenting and maintaining a complete network and software inventory, Use SIEM/EDR tools for threat assessment in system environment, analyze network traffic for performance enhancement, help optimize overall network performance. We have hired 6 interns from our partnership with CSUMB in full-time positions here with our company. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the vital operation of our nation’s food supply chain.
